Program Details:

  • Location: Guaynabo Aquatic Center (Dive Center)

  • Duration: Approximately 4-6 hours (theory review, skills practice, and certification)

  • Prerequisites: No prior medical training required; open to anyone who cares about helping others

Course Components:

Primary Care (Life-Threatening Emergencies):

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) techniques

  • AED (Automated External Defibrillator) deployment and use

  • Rescue breathing at lay level

  • Medical oxygen administration for divers

  • Stroke identification

  • Spinal injury management
