This year, Scuba Dogs turns 25, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this incredible milestone with you! Since 2000, we’ve been on a mission to share our love for the ocean, foster environmental stewardship, and build a vibrant community of divers and nature enthusiasts. Over the years, we’ve grown from a small dream into Puerto Rico’s leading hub for scuba training, aquatic adventures, and marine conservation. Let’s take a dive into our journey and what makes Scuba Dogs so special!
A Legacy of Ocean Love and Conservation
From the very beginning, Scuba Dogs has been about more than just diving; it’s been about making a difference. In 2002, our passion for protecting the environment led to the creation of the “Trash Fish” campaign and our leadership in the International Coastal Cleanup. Today, these efforts have evolved into the largest beach cleanup movement on the island, driven by the dedicated work of our non-profit arm, Scuba Dogs Society.
Three Locations, Endless Adventures
We’ve expanded our reach across Puerto Rico to bring you unforgettable experiences in three stunning locations:
-
- Dive & Aquatic Center @ Guaynabo (2005): With a heated 12-foot pool, this is where swimmers of all ages learn to love the water. From scuba camps to pool parties and top-notch gear rentals, Guaynabo is all about fun and learning.
- Escambrón Marine Park @ San Juan (2010): A diver’s paradise! This vibrant marine park features daily tours, training sessions, eco-events, and a cozy beach kiosk with everything you need for your underwater adventures.
- Guanicamazing @ Guánica (2022): Our newest location offers boat diving in the breathtaking Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa in the Guánica Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO-protected sanctuary. It’s perfect for exploring pristine waters and marine life.
