3 Stages:
The PADI Swim & Water Safety Instructor program is a progressive training offered in the following three (3) sages:
- KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT– Complete a thorough self-study online to learn the PADI Swim School standards, guidelines, teaching techniques, and procedures. This theory portion is divided into a series of modules, animated videos, quiz reviews, and exams to assure an accurate understanding of the best teaching techniques practiced worldwide.
- AQUATIC TRAINING– This stage includes direct contact with your Trainer conducting classroom reviews, pool teaching sessions, swim practice drills, open water swimming and snorkeling tours, and simulated lessons to master your teaching techniques. You will be able to see, practice, and learn the most current and recommended procedures for teaching swimming at all levels.
- INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – Once the knowledge development and aquatic training stages are in progress or fully completed, you are now ready to apply these concepts in real-life scenarios with students. Ranging from 6-month babies up to children and adults of all ages, the internship program is designed to build confidence acquiring the necessary skills and experience that you need to lead your own swim and water safety lessons.
Requirements
- Candidates must know how to swim and be at least 16 years old to participate.
- An Aquatic Service Agreement must be signed to confirm you accept our terms & conditions.
- A Liability Release must be filled and signed by all participants confirming that you are in good health and accept the risks involved with all water related activities.

Training Fee
- The PADI Swim School training has a total cost of $975 plus taxes and fees. This includes:
- Access to online eLearning platform and registration fees.
- Student participant manual and sample of all progress patches / tokens.
- Approximately 20 hours of classroom work, aquatic sessions, and internship program.
- PADI Swim & Water Safety certification and membership valid for 1-year.
- Waterproof Instructor rashguard uniform from Scuba Dogs (One per Year upon renewal).
- Opportunity to join the Scuba Dogs professional team to offer swim lessons and snorkeling tours, plus have access to Alpha Dogs” special discounts.

Cancellation Policy
Payment is required to make your reservation and our duty is to provide the best possible service. This is our mutual commitment. Full refunds apply for cancellations in writing 48 hours and a 50% refund 24 hours prior to the service. We do not offer refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours, no-shows, or extreme circumstances that may impede the service.
AVAILABILITY AGREEMENT
All bookings are subject to change due to factors like weather conditions, staff availability, quorum and unexpected events. If a reschedule is necessary, your flexibility to properly coordinate services is greatly appreciated.
PROCESSING FEES
All prices are based on our service only. A 17.5% processing fee is added at checkout to include the 10.5% state tax, 1% municipality tax, and 6% service fee. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding.
