This nocturnal journey reveals a host of marine creatures that prefer the cover of darkness. Octopuses Squid, Crabs and Lobsters emerge from their hiding places, while our lovely Fish & Turtles are found sleeping in the reef under the stars of the night.

While this expedition is ideal for Advanced divers, we extend a warm invitation to Open Water level divers wanting to go further. You can join us by completing our PADI Night Dive specialty course or opting to pay a $25 Introduction Training Fee that will empower your professional guide to include a basic training review and supervision to assure your safety in this new experience.

Register – Sign up with our service coordinators at the dive shop counter
Site Brief – An exciting welcoming review of the site’s historic and ecological heritage
Get Comfortable – Store your belongings in lockers and get changed in our private restrooms
Gear Up – Select and don the best fitting equipment for you
Safety Brief – Dive plan and profile from our certified dive professionals, especially adapted to night diving techniques and logistics
Aquatic Tour – Once ready, swim underwater with neutral buoyancy to explore the reef and its amazing creatures
Get Changed – Drop your gear in the rinse tank, wash off in our freshwater showers, and change into dry cloth
Gift Shop – Visit our kiosk to purchase any gifts, light food, snacks, and refreshments

WHAT’S INCLUDED

This experience service includes:

Excellent Facilities – Gift shop, lockers, restroom, showers, storage, swings, and seating area
Gear Rentals – BCD jacket, regulator, tanks, mask, snorkel, fins, primary dive light, and weight belt
Aquatic Tour – Time to explore and interact underwater with marine life

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

Consider the following options for your adventure:

Swim Wear – Please bring a bathing suit; rash guard or wetsuit is available for purchase or rent
Secondary Light – A backup dive light is always recommended for night diving and available for purchase or rent for $25
Transportation – Rental car, taxi or Uber are recommended

CRITERIA TO JOIN

All participants must meet the following requirements for this service:

Skills – Advanced Scuba diving certification from an internationally recognized agency (PADI, SSI, NAUI, SDI, TDI, CMAS, RAID, BSAC, GUE) or join via the Introduction Training Fee; either way, must have been actively diving within one (1) year from your last dive
Age – Minimum 10 y/o
Guardian Approval – Minors under 18 years old must obtain an adult guardian approval to participate
Safety First – All participants must be in good health. Kindly fill out and submit this medical waiver to confirm you are safe. If you have a health issue, you are required to see your physician for a medical approval.
Liability Release – All aquatic experiences always have a certain level of risk, thus a liability release must be filled and signed by all participants

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Following are answers to some of the most common questions and concerns:

Can I do a Night Dive-In Tour if I haven’t been diving lately? No. It is required to have completed at least one (1) dive within the last year. If not, kindly consider taking the PADI Reactivate program to review and master your skills before your night diving adventure.
Can I join a Night Dive-In Tour if I’ve never done it before? Yes, but we require that you pay a $25 Introduction Training Fee to include a basic training preparation and assistance for your safety. This is a simple way for you to learn new skills and enjoy the experience under direct instruction and supervision of our certified professionals.
Can Advanced Diver certified children join a Night Dive-In Tour without a guardian adult? Yes, anyone between 10-18 years old can participate independently. However, to go by themselves they must have their guardian’s signed approval.
Are refunds granted if one cannot perform the activity? No. Our guides truly make the best effort to assist our guests and deliver on our mission as “Diver’s Best Friend”. However, there are many factors that are out of our control like the weather, visibility, temperature, marine life encounters, people’s comfort level in the water, etc. and this is in no way a service shortcoming on behalf of Scuba Dogs.
Is the service provided in a confined or open water environment? The experience begins in confined waters to safely begin and adapt to the nocturnal environment. Weather permitting, the tour then explores further and deeper into open waters.
Is the equipment properly sanitized? Yes. After all the gear is washed in our freshwater rinse tank with high-contact items like masks, snorkels, and regulators, then transferred into a sanitizing bucket mixed with bleach to fully disinfect before reuse.

Cancellation Policy

Payment is required to make your reservation and our duty is to provide the best available service; this is our mutual commitment. Full refunds apply for cancellations notified in writing 48 hours prior and a 50% refund when notified 24 hours prior to the reservation. We do not offer refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours, no-shows, or extreme circumstances that may impede continuing a service.

AVAILABILITY AGREEMENT

All bookings are subject to change due to factors like weather conditions, staff availability, quorum and unexpected events. If a reschedule is necessary, your flexibility to properly coordinate services is greatly appreciated.

PROCESSING FEES

All prices are based on our service only. A 17.5% processing fee is added at checkout to include the 10.5% state tax, 1% municipality tax, and 6% service fee. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding.
