YOUR BENEFITS

  • Introductory level ages 2 years and above where students are still dependent on parental support for self-reliance. Also known as “Parent & Child” lessons, it always requires the presence of an adult in the water unless conducting Private Lessons (see below). The minimum age is 2 years, and it’s designed to prepare them for independent swimming.  This level includes:

      • Trust & Submersion
      • Body Positions & Air Recovery
      • Forward Movement & Direction Change
      • Rotary Movement
      • Integrated Movement
      • Safety Skills such as Asking Permission, Wearing a Lifejacket, and Survival Float in Shallow

TRAINING CURRICULUM

The swim training program focuses on two (2) main areas:

    • Swim Skills methods of displacement teaching freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, sidestroke, freediving, and more
    • Water Safety focused on survival swim, back & front flotation, self-rescue techniques, boating, diving, submerging, and more

The Swim School is mostly divided by skill, not age, under the following five (5) Swim School Classes.  Select the perfect class for you:

Not sure which class level is the best option for you?  No problem.  Conduct a professional swim and water safety test to determine your current skill level.  This will not only allow you to get to see our facilities and meet our certified Instructors, but we can also recommend the best training plan for you. AQUATIC TUITION FEE

When booking four (4) or more swim sessions, the center requires a $50 Aquatic Tuition Fee to provide the track and incentive program with reward tokens, bands, and a personalized carabiner, and cover the registration process fee.  This will help boost student performance, and monitor progress for parents and instructors to track effectively.  The tuition fee is valid for one (1) full year and automatically renewed every month when continuing with your classes.

MONTHLY PROGRAM

Our swim lessons are offered all day Monday through Saturdays through a Monthly Program. Subject to availability, students typically take one or two per week through an extended period to learn and master their swimming skills. This is the “Extended Aquatic Program” which offer these 3 important benefits:

  1. Service Discount: 20% discount for 6 months or 30% discount for one year on your monthly fee
  2. Guaranteed Space: With this confirmation, we can guarantee the limited space for your swim lessons
  3. Your Goal: Just like learning to play a musical instrument or sport, learning to swim takes time. When you sign up to our Extended Program, we are confident that you will achieve your goals and expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Students must be at least 6 months old to participate
  • An Aquatic Service Agreement must be signed to confirm you accept our terms & conditions
  • A Liability Release must be filled and signed by all participants confirming that you are in good health and accept the risks involved with all water related activities

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Following are answers to some of the most common questions and concerns:

  • What age can my child start swim lessons? Children can begin swim lessons as young as 6 months old through the StarBabies School program. This introductory level runs through age 2, with a parent in the water throughout each 20-minute session. From age 2 and up, children can progress to the Starfish School (Parent & Child), and by ages 4–8 most students are ready for independent Swim School classes.

  • How much do swim lessons cost, and what options are available? Swim lessons are offered in both group and private formats:

    • Group Lessons (max 8 students): $245/month for 2x per week, or $145/month for 1x per week. Single separate classes are available at $40 each.

    • Private Lessons: Double the group rate, with the full attention of a dedicated instructor — ideal for faster, personalized progress.

    • A one-time $50 Aquatic Tuition Fee applies when booking 4 or more sessions, covering registration, a progress tracking system, and reward tokens and bands.

  • How do I know which class level is right for me or my child? Scuba Dogs offers a free Swim Evaluation to assess your current skill level and recommend the best class. The program is divided into 4 main levels based on ability, not age:

    1. StarBabies – Ages 6 months to 2 years (with parent)

    2. Starfish School – Ages 2+ (with parent support)

    3. Swim School – Beginner independent swimmers, typically ages 4–8

    4. Stroke School – Competitive-level swimmers ages 8 and up

Cancellation Policy

Your payment is required to make this reservation and our duty is to provide the best available service; this is our mutual commitment. Full refunds apply for cancellations notified in writing 48 hours prior and a 50% refund when notified 24 hours prior to the reservation. We do not offer refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours, no-shows, or extreme circumstances that may impede continuing a service like an unannounced health issue.

AVAILABILITY AGREEMENT

All bookings are subject to change due to factors like weather conditions, staff availability, quorum and unexpected events. If a reschedule is necessary, your flexibility to properly coordinate services is greatly appreciated.

PROCESSING FEES

All prices are based on our service only. A 17.5% processing fee is added at checkout to include the 10.5% state tax, 1% municipality tax, and 6% service fee. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding.
